David Kryger is entering his first season with Chicago Stars FC. Kryger is an Omaha, Nebraska native and earned his degree in Health Studies from the University of Iowa in 2010.
David works as an elementary school teacher in Lincoln Park and also coaches the boys soccer team there. Before returning home to Chicago in 2015, David spent two seasons as the Assistant Men's soccer coach at NAIA powerhouse Hastings College in Nebraska.
Kryger also spent two years working in the soccer department at NCSA Athletic Recruiting in Chicago as the Head Soccer Recruiting Coach. Before working at NCSA he was an assistant at Midland University, where he was responsible for on-field coaching, recruiting, and assisting with administrative responsibilities.
Prior to Midland, David worked as an undergraduate assistant for the University of Iowa’s Women’s soccer team for three seasons.
Kryger is a USSF licensed coach with years of experience working in the ODP and youth club system.
